Full-Area Multi-Laser Calibration
How X1 Solves It
X1 calibrates itself using built-in calibration, camera vision, multi-laser alignment, and surface scanning. It knows exactly where each laser should land, detects shifts caused by the machine or material, and automatically corrects them—no external calibration tools needed.
Point-by-Point Calibration. One Unified Coordinate System.
What It Means For You
Every Laser. Precisely Aligned. Across the Full Work Area.
Hybrid Motion™ System
X1’s Hybrid Motion™ four-axis system combines a large-format gantry with a high-speed galvo. The gantry handles large movements while the galvo scans locally at high speed, both precisely synchronized throughout the job.
The X1 Solution: Making Gantry and Galvo Work as One.
X1's custom four-axis control algorithm intelligently optimizes motion paths and keeps the gantry and galvo precisely synchronized, with timing differences of no more than 10 milliseconds. By reducing sharp turns by 61%, it delivers smoother, faster, and more efficient large-format processing.
How Hybrid Motion™ Stays in Sync
What It Means for You
Smart Seam Blending
Traditional galvo systems have a limited working area. Larger designs must be split into sections, often causing visible seams or uneven results. X1’s Smart Seam Blending intelligently smooths the seams between engraving areas, creating one continuous, seamless design.
How Smart Seam Blending Works
Like feathering edges in photo editing, X1's Feathering Algorithm creates overlapping zones between sections and spreads the engraving across them. Instead of leaving errors concentrated along a single line, it blends them across a wider area, making seams virtually invisible.

What It Means For You
*At a refractive index of 1.54.
** With Dust Hood for Embossing.
Built for Bigger Ambitions.
With up to 4× the work area of a typical galvo laser, X1 handles oversized creations with ease. Up to 12× larger glass inner engraving volume opens up more possibilities for crystal awards and glass keepsakes. A nearly 2× larger metal embossing area enables bigger, higher-value metal products.
The Challenge
Different laser sources have different wavelengths and beam characteristics. Simply routing them through the same optical system can cause changes in spot size, focus shifts, and inconsistent results. X1's challenge was to bring these lasers into one shared optical system while maintaining precise focus, stable output, and consistent processing quality.
How X1 Solves It: A New Optical System
Precise, Unified Flying Optical Path
X1's innovative flying optical path routes different laser sources through a shared optical system. Even after multiple reflections across a series of mirrors, each laser beam maintains precise alignment before reaching the same high-precision galvo head.
One Custom-Engineered Field Lens. Three Wavelengths.
Mirrors guide the laser beam through X1’s flying optical path, while a specially engineered field lens precisely focuses three different wavelengths—1064 nm, 450 nm, and 355 nm—all through a single lens.
What It Means For You
Starting with CO₂ and Diode lasers, X1 expands to UV, MOPA, and Fiber through one precise, unified flying optical path. Work with more materials, expand your capabilities as needed, and unlock new business opportunities.
5 Laser Options. Every Material at Its Best.
Powered by dual flying optical paths and Laser Swap™ technology, X1 offers up to five laser source options. From wood to metal and glass, from cutting to fine engraving—all in one seamless X1 workflow.
UniCast Frame
X1 combines its industrial-grade UniCast Frame, built with 4,000-ton die casting, and intelligent vibration suppression algorithms to deliver exceptional rigidity, stability, and lasting precision—even at high speeds. Engineered for its large work area and flying optical paths, this hardware-software integration sets a new standard for desktop laser machines.

What It Means For You
Precision Dot Laser Ranging
X1’s ACS™ system features three cameras: an overview camera, a close-up camera, and a ranging camera. Working with a dot laser, the ranging camera uses laser triangulation to detect surface height variations, enabling fast, precise measurements and generating a full-area height map.
The Challenge
Materials come in different colors and aren't always perfectly flat, making fast, accurate height measurement difficult.
How Is Dot-Laser Ranging Fast and Accurate?
X1 combines high-speed ranging, adaptive exposure, and intelligent algorithms for faster, more accurate surface scanning. It automatically adapts to different materials, from black acrylic to white paper, and measures continuously while moving—no stopping required.
What It Means For You
Speed or Scale? Now You Get Both.
xTool X1 is powered by Hybrid Motion™, a four-axis flying galvo system that synchronizes the gantry’s X-Y motion with dual galvo mirrors, delivering speeds of up to 6,000 mm/s across a large-format workspace. Take on larger projects, engrave faster with finer detail, and boost productivity—all with one machine.
With a 55W CO₂ laser and a 20W Diode Galvo Module, X1 brings powerful cutting and high-speed precision engraving together. Cut and engrave the same project without switching machines or repositioning materials.
Built to Expand. Ready for More Materials.
Different materials perform best with different lasers—and for years, that often meant different machines. Start with a 55W CO₂ laser, add the 20W Diode Galvo Module for fast, precise engraving, then expand with 5W UV, 60W MOPA, and 30W Fiber through Laser Swap™. Start with what you need today, then add more as you grow.
Where Materials Meet, Masterpieces Come Alive.
With more laser options, X1 brings multiple materials and processes together—from cutting and relief engraving to 3D crystal engraving—unlocking more intricate, ambitious, and higher-value creations.

Every X1 includes a 55W CO₂ laser. To expand, you must add the 20W Diode Galvo Module, which unlocks UV, MOPA, and Fiber expansion. If you plan to use UV, MOPA, or Fiber later, choose the X1 version with the 20W Diode Galvo Module.
Different laser sources offer different capabilities. Compare their key differences below and choose the one that best fits your projects and processing needs.
55W CO₂: Best for cutting. Great for wood, acrylic, leather, paper, and many other common non-metal materials.
20W Diode: Best for fast, detailed engraving on wood, leather, dark acrylic, cardstock, and more.5W UV: The only X1 laser source that supports glass inner engraving. Its low-heat processing enables ultra-fine engraving on almost any material.
30W Fiber: Best for metal marking and deep 3D engraving with detailed, high-contrast results.
60W MOPA: Best for faster and more advanced metal work. Compared with 30W Fiber, it offers finer detail, faster processing, and better results for color emgraving and rembossing.
xTool X1 is ideal for creators and small business owners who want to start with CO₂ cutting and engraving, take on larger projects, and expand into more materials and applications, such as glass and metal, as their needs grow—all without replacing the entire machine. Its processing speed reaches up to 6,000 mm/s.
The F Ultra Series is designed for users who prioritize higher speeds (up to 15,000 mm/s), specialized performance, and portability. It's especially suited for professionals who need advanced metal and glass processing, and on-the-go customization.
In short: Choose X1 for versatility, larger projects, and future expandability. Choose the F Ultra Series for speed, specialized performance, and portability.
Different laser sources have different optical characteristics, and processes such as inner engraving, metal embossing, and color engraving have different requirements for focus control, energy distribution, precision, and stability. As a result, their maximum processing areas vary.
X1 is optimized for each laser source and its typical applications, balancing processing precision, structural constraints, and overall output quality. This allows each source and process to achieve the largest practical work area while maintaining stable, consistent results.
