FAQ
The Electrostatic Mat does not rely on adhesive to fix materials like traditional adhesive cutting mats. It can prevent curling and tearing of designs, making your papercrafting easier and reducing waste. Additionally, it does not lose its adhesion over time like adhesive cutting mats, making it more durable and lowering your replacement costs.
No, the Electrostatic Mat cannot completely replace adhesive mats.
Supported materials:
Paper (below 300 gsm): cardstock, kraft paper, textured paper, sticker, infusible ink paper, printing paper, photo paper, etc.
Vinyl: heat transfer vinyl, adhesive vinyl, printable vinyl, etc.
Acrylic with protective paper.
Unsupported materials:
Fabric, most leather, paper over 300 gsm.
Note:
Paper and vinyl with curved surfaces or curled edges (e.g., vinyl rolls) cannot be fully secured either. It is recommended to use the included stickers for additional adhesion.
The Electrostatic Mat supports:Fine-point blade mode, foil transfer mode, inkjet mode, hot pen mode, drawing pen mode, and cutting blade mode (partial materials). It doesn't support rotary blade mode, laser mode, or multi-processing modes.
Parameters with the Electrostatic Mat may vary slightly. Please use the recommended parameters under Electrostatic Mat mode and do calibration before the first use. Actual cutting effects may vary due to surface flatness and material type. If the material cannot be cut through completely or certain parts are not cut through, you can adjust the blade pressure accordingly.
The Electrostatic Mat is very easy to weed and clean, making it suitable for cutting fine patterns. However, for very small materials (less than 2 mm), the insufficient contact area can lead to inadequate adhesion, causing the cutting elements to shift during the process.
Repeatedly cutting A4 printing paper in the same position 20 times will cause the protection sheet at that location to be cut through. The actual lifespan varies based on cutting frequency, blade pressure, and material.
To avoid damaging the Electrostatic Mat, please change the cutting place. If multiple areas are cut through, the protection sheet needs to be replaced.
