What materials can xTool laser cutter machines cut through? And how thick can they cut?

Generally, xTool laser cutters can cut through wood, acrylic, fabric, leather, etc. However, different models' cutting and engraving capabilities differ depending on their laser types and laser output power. Learn more about it from this material setting page.
For the cutting capability, xTool P2 can cut through an 18mm black walnut wood piece and a 20mm acrylic piece in a single pass.

What laser cutting software is compatible with xTool laser machines?

All our laser engraving machines are compatible with LightBurn, which is paid software, and our self-developed software, xTool Creative Space (XCS) , which is completely free, more beginner-friendly, and offers a ton of free laser cutting resources.
