I bought this as an upgrade to my D1 Pro 20W because the D1 was a little unreliable in its cutting consistency. One day it'd cut at 5mm/s and the next day only at 3mm/s using the same material. The wastage was building up. Now I have the S1 with the autofocus I've had zero wastage so far. Furthermore the speed increase is around 5x, that's 1/5th of the time to create what I create. My only wish(es) hence 4 stars would be a larger bed like the D1 and a camera. Although I have not tried the Pin-Point system yet.
I was going to sell the D1 but after a weeks of using the S1 I can see that the D1 is still necessary due the bed size.
For what I create a square bed is all I need, not rectangular.
It's a shame that extension kits only add length and not height.
